The SlideLock and bar have been drop tested extensively in a drop-testing rig that simulates the varieties of 15.000 real life drops at heights of 1.6 m loaded with 320 kg of plates, as well as heights of 2.2 m with 90 kg. Not to mention the hydraulic press test that proved the Slidelock can endure a vertical pressure of 15.000kg, while staying perfectly intact.

We hung a car at the end of the Allrounder 20 kg Olympic bar to see what happens. Our products get a fair share of scepticism from time to time, with people saying things like “That will be broken in about two heavy deadlifts” or “I wouldn’t trust it for a second”. And we get it, the SlideLock is small and doesn’t look like it could hold a lot.

But as they say; never judge a book by its cover. As it turns out, the SlideLock holds up to 15.000 kg in vertical pressure tests in a hydraulic press. Which equivalates to two elephants. Or a semi truck. Or a lot more than a car like this one!

Very easy to use - slick design!

I’ve loved using this bar, and our clients have too.

Clips were always getting lost, broken or just weren’t used. This bar has solved that problem overnight.

Very slick look and design and feels great to lift with.

Highly recommended!

Allrounder 20 Review

This bar is EPIC! I wanted a go to bar that was easy to use, fast to change weights, capable of being dropped without damage and that had good grip. The Gungnir Allrounder 20 has more than exceeded my expectations.

While I was away I left my bar at my local gym and when I came back one of the clips was missing (somehow broken off). Of course, everyone at the gym was clueless and no one admitted to damaging the bar. I got ahold of Gungnir and they have sent me a few clip and install video free or charge - Just awesome support of their already great product.

If anyone is on the fence about getting one, you need to get on over and buy one, you will not regret it!

Year review - Even better!

This bar is one of the few pieces of equipment that makes the gym easier. It makes you want to lift! Build quality is perfect, and it gets even smoother over time. An absolute joy to use!
