FAQ
Can they be dropped?
Yes, however, only from knee height and on rubber flooring. Please be careful when dropping them, they might bounce and hurt you.
Can I do snatches and cleans with them?
Yes, the dumbbell is great to use in all types of Olympic lifts.
What plates can I use?
50mm Olympic standard weight plates.
Will there be a gap between the SlideLock and the plates?
Due to the design of the sleeve and grooves, there may be a maximum gap of 4mm between the SlideLock and the plates. This has no effect on the user experience and has been tested with all types of athletes and gym users over several years in a variety of gym environments. It is worth noting that conventional collars tend to slide more than 4mm during the lift and throughout the exercise, which can cause the plates to fall off and lead to potential injury, especially with dumbbells. Although there may be a gap in some cases, the SlideLock won't move and will keep you safe throughout your workout.
Do they come in pairs?
The Dumbler Olympic is sold in pairs. Should you wish to only purchase a single dumbbell, please contact us and we will be glad to help.
Do the grooves on the dumbbells damage or chip the holes on plates at all?
No, the grooves are sand-blasted and smoothed over to make sure the edges aren’t too sharp, and to avoid damages or injuries.
Do the sleeves spin?
Yes, the sleeves come with bronze bushings, giving a reliable spin.

Fantastic
These things were expensive, but worth every penny. This is my first experience with loadable dumbbells, and I’ve only used them a few times, but the quality is obvious upon unboxing. They look awesome with my Weight it Out plates - which are perfect for the relatively short loadable sleeve. I have 60 lbs on in the one picture and you can see there is plenty of space left on the dumbbell - more than I’ll ever need. I waited to review until I did goblet squats, which I figured would be the ultimate test from a practical standpoint. I loaded one up to 85 lbs and it held the weights easily. I assume a good collar on conventional loadable dumbbells would work, but I don’t see how they could hold as well as these. Depending on the combination of weights on the sleeves, they will usually move around to some degree, but this doesn’t bother me as it’s only a fraction of an inch at most and never any more than that. The construction is solid and I have no concerns about durability. These have got to be the best Olympic loadable dumbbells on the market.

Solid build. Only thing I'd trust for hammer curling 100lbs/arm.
Much quicker to load/unload than spinlocks or collars. Great for loading up some serious weight for DB bench press and getting more chest less tricep activation (overcoming a bench plateau). Actually relying on counter/normal force from the collars during heavy hammer curls instead of friction (no slippage). A solid investment in myself.

Gunguir is much more than built in collars - they are the result of the pursuit of excellence. These dumbbells are stainless steel shaft. They are amamzing to look at - they are like a trophy. The only thing you have is your health - pursue excellence with your health - stop shortcutting your pursuit of health. These are the best loadable dumbbells available (and I have the Elieiko loadable dumbbells also).
