Iconic Studio in Amsterdam is a private gym designed for elite personal trainers and their clients. Founded by a team of working coaches, purpose built inside a brand new 312 square metre space on Visseringstraat, and equipped to the highest standard from day one. Gungnir bars are now a central part of the strength floor, and the studio has already expanded its collection.
Iconic Studio is a different kind of gym. There is no walk in membership, no crowded floor, no booking scramble. Trainer numbers are limited by design so the space is never too busy. Members are paired with a coach that fits their goals. Everything about the model is built around one thing: giving the trainer and their client the best possible session, every time.
Founders Miquel Been, Vincent Poth and Matthew Johnstone set out to build a place they would want to train their own clients in. That meant premium equipment across the board, a photo room for progress shots, supplement partnerships, and a community of coaches who take their craft seriously. "The premium studio, by coaches, for coaches" is how the team describes it.
The Gungnir bars have quickly become part of that standard. Iconic Studio started with a mix of Allrounder bars and has since added another 20 kg Allrounder, another 15 kg Allrounder, two Fiver bars, and a Curler to their line up.
